SUNDAY: Pancake Feed, Community Worship, Free Kid's Games, ALA Quilt Show, Demo Derby, Music by Modern Kowboy

MONDAY: Our BIG PARADE (10:30 am), Miss Fall Festival Crowning, BBQ Dinner, Jr. Rodeo, Raffle Winner Drawing

Parade theme is "Favorite Phrases or Sayings." Kid's Division is "Favorite Cartoon Character." 
Judged divisions include Grand Prize and 1st - 3rd Place. 
Floats: Business, Youth, Church, Kids, Organizations
Best of Show for Cars, Tractors, Farm Equipment
Horses: 1st - 3rd Place and Best Horse-Drawn
Judging begins at 9:30 am. Parade begins at 10:30 am. 
Treats may be thrown from the float.

Author, Alan J. Bartels, will be reading and signing his newly released book, What's Going Down in Prairie Dog Town? 

Coffee from Valley Fire Espresso and treats from the Ord Township Library will be provided.

The Ord Area Chamber of Commerce and Valley County Economic Development offices will be closed Monday, September 3 in honor of Labor Day.

The Artissimo's Art Club will kick off their year on Tuesday, September 4th at 7:00 pm at Main Street Gallery in North Loup.

All are invited! Dues are 15.00 per year which qualifies your current work for our local ANAC Show.

​Scratchtoberfest is back! Scratchtown Brewing Company's annual birthday celebration is coming September 8th in downtown Ord.

This year we're welcoming these musical guests:

- Barry Boyce Band
- Rascal Martinez

Food trucks will be on premise, along with special merchandise and .5L mugs available for purchase. We will have two beer tents outside serving up our Scratchtoberfest Marzen, and the taproom will be open for the Nebraska game.

The State Chamber Legislative Forum will review key business-related bills in the 2018 session of Nebraska Legislature thay may affect your business as well as issues awaiting Legislature in 2019.

Our Legislative Forum will also include an in-depth discussion on “Blueprint Nebraska,” a citizen-led, statewide economic development initiative.  "The State Chamber is proud to play a key role in this pro-active plan to stimulate Nebraska’s economy and communities – but for Blueprint Nebraska to be a success, it needs local chamber and community engagement.  These forums will help the Nebraska Chamber gather ideas and input from the community."

Nebraska Shakespeare’s 13th annual season of “Shakespeare On Tour” will perform “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at 7:30 PM on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the Golden Husk Theatre. The performance is geared toward audiences of all-ages and admission will be $15 for adults and $8 for students.
