Register your team for Kamp Kaleo's Grass Volleyball Tournament by August 1st. The tournament will take place on August 4 at Kamp Kaleo.

Missoula Children's Theatre
A FREE summer event for youth! Area youth entering 1st - 12th grades are invited to addition. Up to 60 children will be cast in roles of all sizes.
Auditions:
Monday, August 6th from 1:00-3:00 pm at The Golden Husk. First rehearsal will follow from 3:30 - 5:30 pm.
Rehearsals:
Children must be able to attend rehearsals held AUgust 7-11th from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm and 12:30 - 2:30 pm and dress rehearsal during the morning on Saturday, August 11. Workshops will also be offered after rehearsals!
Community Performances:
Saturday, August 11 at 3:00 pm and 5:30 pm. Tickets are $10/person. Tickets available at The Golden Husk and Ord Area Chamber office.

Wednesday, August 15 will be the second of four sessions of Living Leadershp: Rooted in Truth for women in mentoring positions such as teachers, paraprofessionals, 4-H leaders, school board members, homeschool moms, daycare providers, piano teachers, church leaders, youth group leaders and women in any other mentorship role.

Loup Valley Livestock Challenge
The Loup Valley Livestock Challenge is a show based on success.
Join exhibitors from across the Midwest who have shown county fair champions. The competition is keen, the judging is unique and the hospitality is great! There are no entry fees and the location is in the heart of Central Nebraska in Ord.
The challenge is Nebraska's one-of-a-kind show and the committee is dedicated to providing experiences for each participant.
A minumum of $15,000 in cash scholarships and awards to be given out during the show. Scholarships are offered by Napa Auto Parts - The Parts Bin in Ord, St. Paul and Columbus - Gaylord and Jeff Boilesen.

Don't miss Nebraska's longest continuously running community celebration - North Loup Popcorn Days - on August 24-26, 2018!
Plus...all the free popcorn you can eat!
The Popcorn Days Parade will take place on Sunday, August 26 at 2:00 pm. This year's theme..."History of North Loup." Check in for the parade will begin at 10:00 am at the northwest corner of the old school and run through 12:30 pm with judging at 12:30 pm sharp. Categories include churches, clubs, organizations, businesses, youth, cars, tractors, horses and misc. Only floats will be judged. Come visit with the soldiers, civilians, blacksmith, doctor, carpenter and laundresses as they portray their roles of the 1870s.
