Jun 17 Born Wild - Created to be Free with Todd Pierce

Bring the entire family for a remarkable event - a living parable of an unbroken horse by Todd Pierce.

"Born Wild… Created To Be Free is a horse breaking demonstration given by a champion bareback rider, horse trainer and pastor, Todd Pierce. However, it is not a training seminar. It is a message proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ. Todd works in a round-pen, with a young horse that has not yet been ridden. With a gentle hand and a calm manner, he guides the horse around the pen, building a relationship of trust, until the horse submits to bridle, bit and saddle, and ultimately allows Todd to ride. All the while, Todd shares with the audience how Christ wants a relationship with us; He wants us to yield to His gentle hand, just as the horse yields to Todd."

The Born Wild - Created to Be Free event is hosted by Forged in Faith Oak Ministries and the Valley County Community Foundation Fund.

Jun 19 Leaving A Legacy: Succession, Estate, Tax & Financial Planning for Farm Families

Many farm families dream of passing the operation onto future generations, but the reality is it’s difficult to find the best plan for your family and farm. With the ever-changing agricultural industry, what was successful previously may no longer accomplish what needs to happen now.

This complimentary event helps you assess your current plan and provides you with concrete planning solutions. We will also specifically discuss the impact of the tax law and jobs act on agricultural taxpayers.

Whether it’s an ag estate plan, taxes or financial planning, this workshop is tailored specifically for farm families. Learn strategies to craft an innovative plan to protect your farm, treat your successors fairly and provide financial flexibility to accomplish goals.

Heartland Bank and Raymond James, in partnership with Stowell, Geweke and Piskorski, P.C, L.L.O., Severson, Lammers and Abel CPA's P.C. and Central Community College, would like to invite you to hear from and interact with experts in the succession, estate, tax and financial planning industry. We are passionate about providing you the best learning experience possible to help you be successful.
