This is the Foundation's signature fundraising event, featuring heavy hors d'oeuvres catered by Elyria Gardens Catering, wine & beer tastings (featuring breweries and wineries from Nebraska), live and silent auctions, raffles and live music by Blue Skies Jazz Quartet (featuring Ryan Broker of Ord).

This Social Media Made Simple session in Ord is being offered by the Nebraska Enterprise Fund, Affordable Social Media, Inc., Valley County Economic Development and Central Community College Ord Learning Center. 

Through a partnership with Affordable Social Media, Inc., the Nebraska Enterprise Fund is starting a workshop series on essential business concepts designed to help small businesses remain successful. This free business program, sponsored by the Nebraska Enterprise Fund during the upcoming Midwest Social Media Road Trip, will be introduced to small business owners. Stay tuned for more information. 

Each quarter Scratchtown is planning beer suppers in Ord and the surrounding area. Each event's theme will focus beer and cuisine pairings reflective of the seasons. They are returning to Jubilee Events & Catering in downtown Ord with Melanie Boden. They will be offering a multi-course meal with select beer pairings from 6-8pm, with a social hour until 9pm with beer on draught. 

Tickets for our event go on sale Monday, December 4th at 8am. A commemorative 6oz. tasting snifter will be included with the ticket price for each guest. UPDATE: TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT.

January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month and you can help by becoming informed. Please join us Wednesday, January 24^th at 7:00pm at The Golden Husk Theater. Learn from Paul Yates, executive director of I've Got a Name a nonprofit organization based out of Lincoln, and Valley County Sheriff Casey Hurlburt about current sex trafficking statewide and locally. During the presentations you will learn what clues to look for that someone is being sex trafficked? And steps you can take if you believe sex trafficking is occurring.

6:45 pm - Dance Lessons by You'll Be Dancin' featuring a modern swing dance and waltz or two step which can be used for country swing, 50's music, Big Band and more! Kirby & Ronda Andersen are your instructors. 

8:30 pm - Put your new moves to work with dance music by KING FM, The Mighty 1060 and Greatest Hits 93.3. JJ and Kaci Jo will play your favorite dance music requests from modern and classic country, 50's and 60's, classic rock, Big Band, salsa, polka and more.

Please join the Ord High School Junior Class on Sunday, January 28th from 11AM to 2PM at the Valley County Fairgrounds. They will be serving chili and chicken noodle soup along with sandwiches and cinnamon rolls.
