Project Fit America is a national public charity dedicated to getting kids fit since 1990. The goal of this program is to help improve American Schools and provide quality opportunities for children to be active, fit and healthy. 

This program has been funded by a grant from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska and provides outdoor and indoor fitness equipment, curriculum and no-site teacher training. our community proudly joins with 300 cities and nearly 1,000 school systems in 46 states dedicated to making a difference in the health and wellness of our nation's youth through this program. 

Join Ord Elementary School to celebrate their new health and fitness program on Friday, September 29 with a ribbon cutting (rain or shine). 

Enjoy a night out, great food and great music at the Ord Veteran's Club. The Chad Lee Band will be performing live from 9:00 pm - 1:00 am. 

The Bluestem Band is back for another performance at The Golden Husk in downtown Ord. 

Bluestem is native to Nebraska as bluegrass is to Kentucky. Bluestem is a Nebraska-based band that utilizes traditional bluegrass instruments to generate an eclectic style of music, ranging from old-time, to a delightful stop in the 70's, to contemporary selections. Rich harmonies, together with great instrumentation, will be sure to please your ears! 

The concert is part of the Valley County Community Foundation Fund's (VCCFF) celebration of The Vibrant Future Fund Campaign Challenge, an opportunity to build a $750,000 unrestricted endowment that will benefit Valley County for years to come.
