The Goodwill trailer will be in Ord beginning at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, July 26 through Wednesday, August 2. 

Donate your gently used items including clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, household items, computers and accessories, decorations, books, movies, tools, sheets and small appliances. Goodwill does not accept box televisions or mattresses.

Join us on Tuesday 08/15/17 at 11:00 a.m. for a presentation on Medicare Fraud, Medicare and Elder Abuse. 

The presentation will be given by Sheila Kennedy, a SHIIP representative. SHIIP stands for the Senior Health Insurance Information Program, and provides unbiased information on Medicare.

The best of the best from throughout the midwest will meet in Valley County for the Loup Valley Livestock Challenge. 

The Fremont Pathfinders will be highlighting the medical advancements of the 1870's with surgeries, amputations and doctoring practices common on the American Frontier during this reinactment event at Fort Hartsuff State Historical Park. Watch a small battle and the surgical procedures needed to assist these soldiers. 

Activities include skirmishes and drills on the Parade Ground, surgeries and amputations, reveille, assembly and post colors, orders of the day, Sunday church service at 10:00 am. 

Nebraska Park permit is required and available at the Post Headquarters.

The Central Nebraska Economic Development District is hosting a Town Hall Meeting on August 23, 2017 from 6-8 pm at the Valley County Fairgrounds. 

All members of the public are invited to attend this Town Hall meeting sponsored by the Central Nebraska Economic Development District (CNEDD). The purpose of this meeting is to gather public in put regarding your county and community needs; the strengths and weaknesses of our Central Nebraska regional economy, growth sectors and clusters, partners in teh region and support and funding for development activities. 

You can also provide pubic comment through an online survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/cnedd2017ceds.
