Main Street Gallery in North Loup will be celebrating the art collection of BJ Axtehelm. Join them for cookies and coffee! Half of the gallery will be full of BJ's work throughout the month of April. 

Prizes, booth activities for preschool through 6th grade students, drawings and fun family interactions! Spend the morning with your family at the Kids Fair on Saturday, April 1st. Admission is free! 

Meet the Region 26 - 911 dispatchers during Region 26's Weather Symposium on April 1 from 1:00-5:00 pm at the Trotter Event Center.

This event is open to the public. Grab a tornado, get your picture with a tornado, learn fun tornado facts and much more! You can even meet NTV's Chief Forecaster, Kent Boughton. There will also be refreshments and door prizes. 

Bring your family and friends for a night of open skating at the North Loup Community Center from 7-9 pm. Skates are included with the $1 admission fee.

Over 450 cyclists will be visiting Ord this summer and you can get involved in the efforts to welcome them during their 30th Anniversary Tour! Volunteers are currently planning a variety of activities and welcoming efforts for TDN's visit from June 23-25, 2017.

It is important to the City of Ord and Valley County that we have safe and clean neighborhoods, parks, and gathering places where all fortunate to call this place home live, work, and play. The City of Ord, Valley County, Loup Basin RC&D, J&J Sanitation, and Valley County Economic Development are partnering to make it easier for businesses and residents to keep their neighborhoods clean and free of unwanted debris, appliances, furniture and many other items that tend to pile up, creating an eyesore for visitors and area residents.

On Thursday, April 27th, the City of Ord will provide FREE curbside pick-up of unwanted appliances. On Friday, April 28th, the program partners will provide a dumpsite for many unwanted items. Below are further details about these events, times, and acceptable items. If successful, it is hoped that the community clean-up effort becomes an annual event.

The Valley County Economic Development and Ord Area Chamber of Commerce offices will be closed on Friday, April 28 in observant of Arbor Day.
